Vocational Training equips students with applied hands-on skills

Most refugees in Uganda face a big problem in terms of employment. Most of them do not have Income Generating Activities that may help them to access other basic needs.

The Solidarity Eden Foundation Vocational Training Program helps refugees to gain on knowledge on making creative object out of recycled materials. This activity includes a craft making class and business class.

The craft making class help us equip youth with various skills on making bags, shoes and other African fabrics. This activity promote self-reliance among youth. The business class help us equip refugee youth on how to manage the small finances they get from the craft made fabrics. It also help them identifying the different business opportunities around them.
